- There shall be no deliberate driver's door hits.
Deliberate driver door hits will result in disqualification.
- Any car placing all four tires outside of boundary
will not be allowed to return.
- Once a car comes onto the track it will not be allowed
to pit and return.
- Inside front row will be considered as the pole
position.
- In case of a Red Flag, STOP! Judges will arrange a
restart with lapped cars being placed in the rear of the line up.
Car Rules

Only rear wheel drive, passenger
sedans and station wagons are allowed. No pickups, panel trucks,
four-wheel drives, convertibles or hearses. Car must be stock-style
in steering, frame, and suspension (aftermarket upper A-frames are
acceptable).
- You must have a
12” x 12” sign with your car number painted on each side of the sign
and placed upright in the center of the roof of the car. Along with
both front doors painted white with numbers on car doors. This is
for scoring purposes – if we can’t see your number, we can’t
score you.
- Cars must have a minimum 4-point roll cage and
it must be sufficiently constructed as to support the weight of the
car over the driver. X-bracing behind the driver and gussets at all
major pipe intersections are required. The main parts of the cage
(halo, uprights, X-bracing, and door bars) will have a 1 3/4" O.D.
minimum. Roll cage must include a minimum of 3 horizontal door-
bars. These bars must be flared outward into the door panels. There
should also be a minimum of 3 vertical support bars in each door
support. These supports should be staggered through out the door and
not in a straight line. Three support bars should extend from the
bottom door bar to the frame on driver's side and one support bar on
passenger side.
- A 5-point racing harness is required. Seat and
harness must be attached to the roll cage securely (per
manufacturer's instructions). Racing harness may be used no more
than 5 years from the date printed on the belts.
- Chaining and welding motor mounts is
permitted.
- All windows, headlights, antennas, outside
mirrors, and tail lights must be removed. All side windows (except
driver's window net) must remain uncovered.
- A racing window net (ribbon or net) is
required on the driver's side window. The mandatory location of the
release mechanism will be on the top portion of the A-pillar.
Screens must be on the windshield ahead of the driver. Screen should
be 1/2" X 1/2" maximum hole. Two 3/8-inch support rods should be in
front of driver with a 12-inch gap between them, centered by the
steering wheel. 1/3 of the front windshield must be left open or the
entire windshield may be covered with a 12 x 12 in. hole cut in the
screen to allow easy access to the toggle switch. Sharp edges should
be removed or covered.
- Battery may be mounted under the hood or
inside the car. If located in the driver's compartment, the battery
must be in a steel box with a steel cover and mounted securely.
- Doors must be welded or chained shut. See rule
#3 "Roll Cages" for further door details.
- Hood must be in place and have a minimum 12
inch diameter hole cut for fire extinguisher hole. Air cleaners
should not obstruct the fire hole. Car hood must be fastened
appropriately.
- The gas tank must be an approved container
(fuel cells in a metal box are recommended, stock tanks are not
acceptable). The gas tank must be placed in the trunk. There must be
an adequate metal firewall behind the rear seat. There must be a
minimum 5" drain hole cut in the bottom of the trunk. The gas tank
must be properly secured and reinforced (as to prevent fuel spillage
resulting from collision). Tank must have a vent tube with working
2-way check valve. Lines: Stock steel or braided fuel lines must be
used beneath the car, and may not enter driver compartment. Electric
fuel pumps allowed.
- Radiator: Only one radiator will be allowed,
and it must remain in the stock position. No reinforcing ahead of
the front plane of the radiator for the entire width of the car.
Light channel iron or angle iron may be used along side of the
radiator as to support the radiator only. Window screening will be
allowed in front of the whole radiator to protect it from debris.
Tin will only be allowed around headlight area.
- Stock style only. Bumpers must be attached
securely and may not be raised or lowered or flipped upside down
from stock position. Bumper ends must be bent inward and any loose
metal removed. Bumper supports shall not be longer than 6" (measured
from frame horn to back of bumper). Bumpers may have absolutely no
additional bracing aside from the two bumper supports. A maximum of
3/8" metal may be used for bumper supports.
- Bracing in engine compartment that is parallel
to the frame along fender structures must not be greater than a 2
inch pipe. Bracing larger than this will not be allowed. This
bracing must not break the plane of the radiator. This bracing must
not attach to the roll cage or run completely through the car. There
should be a 2" gap between the firewall and any support bracing.
This bracing is allowed only to support fender structures. No fender
flares will be allowed by the front wheels. Cars should be stock in
appearance in front fenders. If door panels must be flared to
accommodate the support bars of cage then that width must be
maintained until reaching the rear bumper. Up to 1" X 2" rub rails
may be used. Must be of a hollow tubing variety, and securely
fastened.
- Stock passenger car style tires are allowed.
No recap tires No mud grips. All tires must have lug nuts present
and tight. One-inch lug nuts are required. Remove wheel weights.
- All cars must have fenders.
- Front and rear brakes must be operational.
- Drive Shaft must be completely painted white,
and a drive shaft loop is required on the front 1/3 of the shaft.
- Firewall must be in stock position. If not a
stock firewall, it must pass an official inspection.
- All cars will have stock sheet metal or the
replacement there of with metal 20- gauge thickness or less.
- Seats must be fastened securely directly to
the roll cage, with use of an aluminum-racing seat being
recommended.
- No electronic communications will be allowed
in the cars.
- Floor pans must be stock style (no
cock-pitting). If using a fabricated floor pan, it must not extend
higher than the stock transmission tunnel anywhere in the driver's
compartment, and must pass an Official's inspection.
