Cars:
-
Car must be stock street type passenger car.
- 104 to 108 wheelbase minimum weigh is 3200
lbs. with driver.
- 109 to 116 wheelbase minimum weigh is 3600
lbs. with driver
- Any cars with an engine over 365 C.I. must
weigh 4000 lbs. with driver
- Stock bodies, you may trim body to allow for
tire and roll bar clearance.
- Hood and trunk lid may be gutted.
- Doors and trunk must be welded or bolted shut.

May add steel plate minimum of 1/4" thick by 12" high outside of
doors for drivers protection
- All glass except must be removed.
- All trim, headlights, taillights, turn
signals, marker lights, mirrors, carpet, headliner, rear seat, door
panels, plastic and fiberglass body panels, passenger seat and
antennas must be removed.
- Metal racing seat allowed.
- Must have minimum 4-point quick release seat
belts
- Must cover all opening in firewall or trunk
compartments with metal.
- Stock gas tank must be removed and replaced
with a 5- gallon fuel cell or metal tank.
- Fuel tank must be securely mounted to the
trunk floor with a minimum of two 1 steel straps 1/8 thick.
Weight:
- All added weigh must be painted white and
securely bolted or welded to car.
Suspension:
- All suspension and steering parts must be
stock for that car.
- No modifying of OEM parts; no mixing and
matching, no relocating of mounts.
- Stock unaltered spring stock strength. No
heating or cutting. No after market parts
- Stock appearing springs, locked rears ok.
Tires, Wheels & Brakes:
- Any 60, 70 or 75 series DOT street legal tires
- No grooving
- No mud grips, snow, recaps or racing tires.
- No offset wheels
- Maximum wheel allowed is 8 wide 15
- Must have 1 lug nut on all wheels
- Must have stock O.E.M brakes and hubs with a
min. of 3 wheels in working order.
Transmission:
- Stock automatic transmission with working
stock converter only!
- Transmission cooler may be used, mounted in
front of radiator or under hood.
- May lock rear end.
- Driveshaft must be painted white
Engine:
- Pump gasoline only, NO racing fuels.
- Stock V-8 or 6-cylinder engine.
- Stock carburetor for make and model of car you
are racing.
- You may use aftermarket pulleys, fan and valve
covers
- You may install headers pipes.
- You may remove A/C unit, EGR, heater, cruise
control and smog pumps.
- Engine must come stock for the make and model
year car you are racing
- Your must remove all antifreeze.
- Engine must pull 14 to 16 inches of vacuum at
1000 to 1200 RPM.
- Battery may be moved inside car but must be
covered and mounted securely to floor.
Roll cage:
- A fire extinguisher must be mounted within
easy reach of the driver.
- Steel roll cage
mandatory Minimum of 1-1/2" O.D. x.120 wall tubing is required.
- Front and rear roll
bars must be connected at the top.
- Top bars must be at
least 2" above drivers head.
- Must have two (2)
braces to front, cannot go through the firewall.
- Must have two (2)
braces to rear may go through firewall but must stay in trunk.
- Must have (3) left door bars, you may add a
min. 1/8 thick by 12 high steel plate to the doors for drivers
protection.
- All roll bars within reach of driver must have
padding.
- Must have minimum 4-point quick release seat
belts, helmet, long sleeve fire retardant suit, gloves and shoes.

The race director shall be empowered to permit
deviations from any of the specifications, herein, or impose any further
restriction, that in his opinion do not alter the minimum acceptable
requirements. NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT
FROM SUCH ALTERATION OF SPECIFICATIONS. Any interpretation or deviations
of these rules is left to the discretion of the officials. Their
discretion is final.
